An Autumn Day Between Ellmau and Astbergsee
In October 2025, Ellmau showed its particularly peaceful side. In glorious weather, we set off for Astbergsee together with Lou. The distinctive Wilder Kaiser mountain range towered above it all, accompanying us time and again throughout the day. The clear mountain air and autumn atmosphere made the journey itself an essential part of the experience. Astbergsee was the defining moment of our tour. Here, the landscape around Ellmau, the open mountain scenery and the special atmosphere of this October day came together. Lou was, of course, right there with us, making our time outdoors together complete. 🐾🏔️ Along the way, the day also took us briefly in the footsteps of the TV series “Der Bergdoktor”, which is closely associated with the region. For us, however, the landscape itself remained the main focus: Tyrolean mountain air, the Wilder Kaiser and an autumn day we will always remember fondly.

Personal note
What we remember most is the peaceful autumn atmosphere around Ellmau. Being outdoors together with Lou and looking up at the Wilder Kaiser time and again made this day especially memorable for us.
