A Warm Day in the South of Lake Garda
From Lazise, this E-bike tour takes us through the south of Lake Garda to Desenzano and back again. The warm weather, the region’s Mediterranean character and the pleasantly well-developed cycle paths give the day a light, relaxed atmosphere from the very beginning. We take our time, look closely and absorb the many impressions along the way. Desenzano delights us in particular. The town becomes one of those moments that remain in our memories long after the route itself. It is not just the kilometres, but also the people and the atmosphere that shape this day on Lake Garda. The good cycle paths make the journey enjoyable. Despite the moderate difficulty, there is plenty of space to take in the surroundings and enjoy the rhythm of the south. We ride without rushing, stop for breaks and experience a tour where movement and a holiday feeling come together naturally. After 52.9 kilometres and many hours on the road, we return to Lazise. What remains is a very good day outdoors and the realisation that the south of Lake Garda is ideal for sunny, enjoyable E-bike tours.

Route
The route.
The 52.9-kilometre E-bike loop starts in Lazise (Camping Communale), leads to Desenzano and then returns to the starting point. The route includes 200 metres of ascent and 200 metres of descent. Moving time is 4 hours 41 minutes, with a total time of 9 hours 4 minutes including breaks. Well-developed cycle paths and warm weather made the ride enjoyable. We rated the tour as moderate. The precise route is available via the existing Komoot route.
Personal note
Desenzano delighted us in particular that day. Together with the warm weather, enjoyable cycle paths and the many encounters and impressions, it became a memory we closely associate with the south of Lake Garda.
