A Quiet November Day in the Karwendel
In November, the atmosphere around Mittenwald begins to change. The days feel quieter, the air clearer, and the mountain landscape reveals a more understated side. We do not need a major destination today: we simply want to spend time outdoors together, let the trails work their magic and keep turning our gaze towards the mountains. Lou joins us and trots ahead while that special atmosphere between late autumn and approaching winter unfolds all around us. 🐾 The tranquillity suits our pace. Instead of trying to move forward as quickly as possible, we take time for the small moments along the way and for the clear November air. Days like these stay with us precisely because they are not defined by elevation gain, distance or a spectacular summit. It is the simple combination of movement, landscape and time spent outdoors together that makes this tour special to us. Mittenwald and the Karwendel provide an impressive backdrop. In the end, we do not return with a major touring record, but with the feeling of a quiet escape, with the Alps always in sight and Lou by our side.
