Tour report
Along the Rivers to Einödsbach
In sunny, warm weather, we set off from the Wonniland car park in Sonthofen. The route initially follows the Iller and later the Tretach. Kilometre by kilometre, we venture deeper into the Allgäu mountains – a beautiful route where being on the move feels wonderfully effortless. 🚴♂️ Once we arrive in Einödsbach, we leave the bikes for a moment. We linger in Germany’s southernmost village and consciously savour its special atmosphere. Rather than a quick turnaround point, this is a break that becomes one of the finest moments of the tour. ⛰️ On the way back, we stop in Oberstdorf for a coffee and a slice of cake ☕. Afterwards, we return to the Wonniland car park in Sonthofen. By the end of the day, we have covered 50.4 kilometres and 420 metres of ascent, taking home memories of a thoroughly rewarding day outdoors.

Personal note
The combination of the route along the Iller and Tretach, the sunny, warm weather and the break for coffee and cake in Oberstdorf made this day feel especially complete for us. A truly beautiful tour and, for us, simply a must in the Allgäu.
