Between the Old Town and the Lech
It is not always the big tours that stay with us. That day, our route took us through Landsberg am Lech and into the area around the Lech weir. With Lou by our side, we set out without any sporting ambitions and consciously took in our familiar surroundings. The old town, the water and the sound of the Lech create a special setting here. Where the townscape meets the riverbanks, even a simple walk takes on a rhythm of its own. We did not have to follow a fixed stage destination and could simply focus on the moment outdoors. Little outings like this remind us time and again that an escape does not have to begin far from home. Landsberg am Lech once again offered the perfect backdrop: close by, familiar and yet always beautiful to experience – especially with Lou by our side.

Personal note
What stays with us most is the peaceful atmosphere along the Lech. Setting off together without much planning and experiencing Landsberg with Lou by our side was exactly the little break from everyday life that we needed.
