One Last Day by the Sea
Our last beach day in Chalkidiki took us to secluded Suntan Beach between Stavros and Olympiada. In warm, sunny weather, the pale sand, rocks and clear water lay peacefully before us. It was exactly the right place to spend time in the sea once more and consciously bring our holiday to a close. The beach bar added to the laid-back atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, while relaxed house beats played in the background. With frappé and freddo cappuccino, comfortable cushions and high-quality sun loungers, our visit to the beach turned into a long, peaceful summer day. When we visited, the loungers were free and the prices pleasantly reasonable. That evening, it was time to head home. Our feelings were mixed: happy and grateful for the day, yet also sad that the holiday was coming to an end. That is precisely why Suntan Beach remains so memorable – the most beautiful beach for us and a fitting end to our time in Chalkidiki.

The route.
Suntan Beach lies along the National Road between Stavros and Olympiada in Chalkidiki. This secluded beach was the destination for our final beach day before heading home that evening.
Personal note
This final day had an atmosphere all its own. Seeing the clear water one last time, holding a cold coffee and simply staying seated – we will remember this peaceful end to our holiday for a long time.
