A quiet trail through the wintry Allgäu mountains
On 8 November 2025, we set off from Oberstdorf towards Christlesee. Lou was with us, and the starting point already set the tone for the day: leaving the village behind and heading into the wintry mountain landscape of the Allgäu. 🐾🏔️ The clear air and quiet trails defined the character of the tour. It was not technical data or sporting goals that made this outing special. What mattered was simply being out there together – one step at a time and without rushing. Eventually, we reached Christlesee, the destination of our tour. This beautiful lake lies nestled in nature and became the peaceful highlight of our walk. A place where it is easy to pause for a moment and take it all in. This tour reminded us that time outdoors does not always have to involve going far, climbing high or taking on a challenge. Sometimes, a quiet trail, clear air and a shared destination are all it takes to turn a simple walk into a lasting memory.
