Exploring the Allgäu in Its Winter Coat
On 23 November, we were out and about with Lou in Fischen im Allgäu. The crisp winter air and snow-covered trails defined the character of the hike. Everything felt calm and pared back – exactly the atmosphere that makes winter outdoors so special. As we walked through the wintry surroundings, everyday life faded into the background for a while. Instead of countless distractions, we had the quiet landscape, the trail ahead and Lou by our side. 🥾🐾 It was one of those days when it is not the length or difficulty of a tour that matters, but the simple pleasure of being outdoors. It is often these simple hikes that stay with us for a long time. A trail, a faithful companion and the Allgäu in its winter coat – that was all we needed that day. What remained was the memory of a peaceful tour and time spent outdoors together.
